AA/NA Meetings

Go to Meetings!

A lot of people who relapse have one thing in common: they stop attending Twelve-Step meetings.

Some will attend occasionally, but with little interest or involvement. Many people who have successfully recovered can compare attending the meetings to taking medicine for a disease. When feelings of uncertainty or denial creep up, a meeting can curb the risk of relapse.

Watch Out for These Rationalizations

“I don’t have the energy tonight, maybe I’ll go tomorrow.”

“I’m too busy to go to meetings that often.”

“I know there’s many successful recovering people who never attend meetings.”

Free for Everyone

Participation in AA/NA Twelve-Step meetings is free and open to anyone who wants to stop drinking alcohol or using other substances.
